Down on the Farm

Having fun on the farm

Riding the four wheeler with Aunt Judy

Wagon ride with Gaga

Snuggling with Nana & Mada

Last week Karson & I went to Missouri to visit my Grandma. She lives in the country. We call it a farm but there really aren't any animals there anymore. But Karson had fun in the cooler temperature and fresh air. We had "Cousins Day" on Saturday. It is kind of like a family reunion with a twist. It was great to see all of our family!

Play Ball

Such a great view from the new stadium

Cheering on the Cardinals!

Getting tired, so he stood on his head

Karson & Mommy at his first Cardinals game

On Sunday, Karson & I went to the St. Louis cardinals baseball game with Nana & Papa. It was Karson's first game and who better to take him than the biggest baseball fan and even bigger Cardinals fan in the family, Papa. It was a great experience to see the new stadium. When I was little we spent many weekends at the old stadium watching the Cards. I am glad that Karson got to experience what I did when I was his age. The Cardinals won on a walk off home run in the 9th, but it was bitter sweet because one of their best players got hurt during the game and is now out for 4 to 6 weeks. Can't wait to take him again next year, maybe even his Daddy won't have to work and can join us on our trip.

Yea, Mavs!!!

Karson needed his coffee so he could stay up to watch a little of Game 6.

(He really did not stay up for too much of the game, but he did see the first quarter)

He is so happy that they won!!!

Photos & Fun at the Arboretum

This is the best shot I got of all three of them

(he loves to drink from the straw)

Petting the goats

Nana sitting in the shade with Macy while we played in Peter Rabbit's Village

We asked, "who is ready to go to lunch?"

We went to the Arboretum today with Mandy, Macy, Madison & Nana to take some pictures of all the kids together. I took a few on my camera and Mandy took most of them with her better camera. These are just the few good ones I got. It was not easy to get Karson to sit still long enough to get one of all three of them, but we got a few good ones. After we took pictures Madison and Karson got to pet the animals at the petting area and play in the Peter Rabbit Village. He loved the animals. He kept squealing , staring and smiling the whole time. It was hot so we did not stay long, but the time we were there was fun!

Keep on Celebrating

We gave Carter some golf clubs....he loved them!

He just loves to sit on the step

Krew & Carter playing at the water table

Chris & his daughter Addison

Just a coincidence that Krew & Karson had the same

jammies, but don't they look like twins?

Since the party last week was a surprise we had already planned our own joint 30th birthday party for Saturday. We decided to go ahead and have people over and keep on celebrating. It was another fun night. I think the kids had just as much fun as we did! It was a great reason to have people over!

Go Mavs!!!

(just a side note that is not blood on his elbow, but

chocolate icing from the cupcake he has just eaten)

This Mav's fan is so crazy that he climbed in a box to cheer them on. Not really, but I couldn't resist posting these pictures of him. He pulled the box out and climbed in and out all by himself. But he is cheering on the the Mavs by wearing his shirt in game days.

Birthday Dates

lunch date

dinner date

On my birthday Kris' mom, Karson and I went to get Karson's picture taken (I will post those pictures later) and we went shopping. Then she took Karson & I to lunch. So I guess you could say Karson was my lunch date. Then that evening she watched Karson so Kris and I could have a nice dinner just the two of us. I will say that my dinner date was a much neater eater than my messy lunch date. Either way I had two wonderful dates on my birthday to make the day extra special!!!
