Birthday Celebration with Duke & Grammy

Last night we went to dinner at Fire Side Pies to celebrate Kris and my birthday with his parents before they leave town. It was a great dinner! Everything was so yummy!

Go Horsey, Go!!!

And their off....

Watching the horses was exhausting!!

Go horsey, go!!!

Just chillin'

On Friday night we met up with the Vick's, White's & Jason at Lone Star Park. Karson seemed to really enjoy watching the horses. Although, his Pop's says that he was not good at helping him pick winning horses. He got to see his friend Andrew. But since Andrew is older they really just stared at each other. Maybe next time Karson will be able to play. But we all had fun. I think we might go again soon!

End of the Year Party

Karson having fun at the party

This was the cake--- it had our class picture on it--very cute!
(if only I hadn't looked like a bus at that time in the year)

On Monday night we had my class end of the year party. The kids had water guns. They all just ran around shooting each other with water, while the parents stood around talking. It was a lot of fun! The best part was Karson made his debut to the class. He met lots of new people. He was a big hit! Everyone told me how cute and great he was (which I already knew, but it never hurts to hear it!).

On Sunday we had Karson's baby dedication at church. He was so good during the part when he was in the service. He was asleep the whole time! He had quite a following that consisted of: four great grandparents, four grandparents, one aunt, one uncle and one cousin. We all went back to the house afterwards to eat lunch and just hang out. It was a very fun day!

Karson had his 2 month checkup yesterday. He did great again this time! He weighed 13 pounds (75%). He was 23 1/4 inches (55%). His head was 15 1/2 (30%). He got three shots and one oral vaccine. He was a champ for all of them! He let out one big squeal and then was fine. That's my boy!

The Arboretum

Couldn't resist with the tiger on his booty!

This went along with the story book "Ferdinand"

We went to the Arboretum today. Grammy went with us. We decided to join for the year, so I am sure there will be many more trips there. Karson slept most of the time, but he did wake up just in time for some pictures.

Meeting Big Al

We went to dinner with Kris' dad Alan tonight. He had not met Karson yet, so this was their first encounter. Kris said that Karson should call him "Big Al".
