Karson's First Lone Star Showdown

Gig'em Aggies!!!

Hogan and Karson loving on each other during the game

Tonight is Karson's first Lone Star Showdown. For those of you not from Texas, that is the football game between Texas A&M and Texas. For Karson's Pops it is the biggest game of the season. So when we got home from celebrating Thanksgiving we changed into our Aggie gear and got ready to watch the game. Karson only got to watch the first quarter, but he enjoyed what he saw. He will definitely get to watch many more in the years to come.

Karson's First Thanksgiving

It got cold today...so he had to wear the hat that matched his sweater
(he looked pretty cute & stayed warm)

Loving on Nana

He loves his Cousin Jen

Today was Karson's first Thanksgiving. He spent the night last night with Nana and Papa, so this morning he got to watch his first Thanksgiving Day parade with cousin Madison this morning. Then we all went to my Aunt Judy's house for a wonderful dinner. Karson enjoyed playing with everyone. Overall he had a great first Thanksgiving!!!

Chug-chug-chug

Eating some puffs after he did such a good job drinking from his cup!

Karson has been practicing with his sippy cup at school. On Monday night he showed me that he can drink water out of it pretty well. He was able to get quite a bit of water from it. It was pretty cute, I would applaud and he would smile and do it again so he could hear me cheer again.

Almost There

Every day Karson gets a little closer to pulling up on the coffee table. He tries but he just can't get all the way up. I think it won't be to much longer...he's almost there!!!

Karson's First Slaton Thanksgiving

Playing at the table with Pops and Papa Tom
Today we went to Kris' grandparents house to celebrate Thanksgiving. This was Karson's first Thanksgiving dinner. He didn't eat anything but his puffs, but he enjoyed the fellowship.

Wow... 8 Months Already!!!!

He loves to chill with Pops!!!
Karson turned 8 months last Monday. I can't believe it has already been 8 months! He has changed so much... even in the past month!!!
Here is a list of his latest accomplishments:
* He loves to play with Hogan. He pets him and loves on him all the time. If Hogan in the room he is watching his every move!
* He is eating dry cereal and puffs. He likes to nibble on them while I cook dinner. Half of them land on the floor, so Hogan loves when he has them too.
* He plays so well by himself. He is able to entertain himself for pretty long periods of time.
* He is trying to pull himself up on the coffee table every chance he gets. He only gets half way up but every time he is a little closer.
* He is still crawling backwards but he is getting faster at it and can turn around pretty quickly.
*We sometimes whine or whimper when I leave the room (this is not one I am loving too much), but it is a stage we have to go through I guess...what can I say he is a mama's boy)
* We hold our bottle at almost every feeding. He would at every but I insist on holding it sometimes.

Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2032

Who knows they could be roomies in 17 years?!?!?!

Karson wishing he could walk like Andrew

The whole gang

The boys talking Aggie football

A week ago Saturday Karson went to wonderful Waco to hang out with his buddy Andrew, while all the parents went to the Texas A&M vs. Baylor football game. Andrew dad is Kris' college roommate and a friend of both of ours from high school. Andrew is 15 months old-- but they still seemed to have fun together. They would both be Class of 2032 in college.

Boys and Their Bottles

I couldn't resist this picture of both my boys chugging on their bottle of choice while they watched the football game on Sunday night. I guess Karson is learning to be just like his Pops!

Can we build it...Yes we can!!!

Karson got a workbench for Halloween from his Papa Tom. He loves to hit it with the toy hammer and explore all the parts. Maybe he will be the next "Bob the Builder'"....hmmm "Karson the Builder"...yeah that isn't as catchy. Oh well, at least he is enjoying it!

Karson's 1st Halloween

On the Saturday before Halloween Karson got all dressed up in his costume and went with Grams to see Mama and Papa (his great grandparents), and he even stopped by the soccer fields so Madison, Aunt Mandy, Nana and Pawpaw could see him too. Then on Halloween we put the costume on again to run over to see his favorite friend Miss Skylar. He was then hoping to pass out candy at home, but we only had one trick-or-treater the whole night and it was after he went to bed :(. Oh well there is always next year.
