Easter Fun

On Saturday we went to Midlothian to have a shrimp and crawfish boil with my family. It was a beautiful day to be outside and the food was wonderful! The kids had an Easter egg hunt. Karson had so much fun hunting eggs and playing with his cousins. Knox wanted to join in the fun, but he's still a little young to hunt eggs. He did however ride on a the four wheeler. I don't have those pictures yet, but I will post them soon. It was a fun day!

Change in Plans

Karson was suppose to celebrate his birthday this weekend. He was going to have a big dinosaur birthday at the house. However, he got sick Friday night and so we had to cancel the party. It was definitely a change in plans for our weekend. He is now feeling much better. And he really didn't even realize we didn't have the party. Maybe he will want a Dino party again next year😄.

8 months---hip hip hooray!

Knox turned 8 months old Sunday. I can't believe how fast he's growing! This month he has started doing so many more things too! I fee like he's changing every day!

* he's eating baby food like a champ. He likes the fruits more than vegetables, but he will tolerate vegetables.
*He is also loving baby yogurt and puffs.
* crawling forwards and backwards
* standing in crib
* holding his own bottle
* loves to play with his toys
* loves to watch his brother do anything... Laughs at him and smiles
* plays in his jeep walker
* is always happy and smiley

He's Three!!!

On Friday Karson turned 3. I cannot believe my little boy is 3 years old already! He still is my little guy even though he tells me all the time he's a big boy. He is full of joy! He also has a bit if a stubborn side that gets him in trouble from time to time. He keeps me on my toes, but all the laughs and fun I have with him outweighs everything else. My favorite thing is when he looks at me and randomly says "I love you mama".

We went to Krispy Kreme for our annual donut birthday breakfast. Karson loves his donuts! Then
we had nana, papa, grams, duke duke, papa Tom and mama slate over for dinner in his birthday. Grams made Karson a cute dinosaur cake. He also got to open his presents from them. He got a new bicycle, a four wheeler and a play BBQ set. He had so much fun! We had to drag him inside at bedtime. His dinosaur birthday party with his friends is next week...I can't wait to post about it.

Spring Break 2013

So this isn't some wild post about a wild spring break like maybe a few years ago, but it was a fun break with my three favorite guys! We went to Houston for the first half to see Big Al. While we were there I took the kids to rainforest cafe for lunch while the men golfed. Both kids loved watching the animals. We also got to go to the Houston Rodeo on Tuesday night. Karson had so much fun. He has already asked if we can go again next year. He even enjoyed the Kenny Chesney concert after the rodeo. The second half we spent at home relaxing and on Friday we celebrated Karson's third birthday (I will post more about that in a separate post).
