Tubbin' Fun

On Saturday we went to the lake with friends. Karson even went tubing. He loved it! He kept waving at us the whole time. Then even more shocking I went tubing. If you know me at all, you know I am more the lay by the pool and never get wet kind of person. So really this was a huge step for me. But I have admit it was a lot of fun! I might even try it again sometime.

Back to School

All dressed up for his first day of school.

Karson and I went back to school on August 15th (he also turned 17 months old on that day). I have been so busy it has been hard to find time to blog. The first day was hard for both of us. I have to admit we both cried, but since then he has been a trooper and it has been all smiles at school! He is in the 18 month to 2 year old class. Which since he is only 17 months old means that he is the youngest in the class. I was kind of caught of guard when I was greeted by a girl saying "Karson is leaving", but I guess hearing the other kids talk will maybe make him talk more sooner. I know it will be good for him. It is just hard to think my little guy is growing up so fast!!!

August 13

We celebrated Papa's birthday. It was just the family, but it was still a lot of fun. Karson always has fun with cousin Mada. And he also really enjoyed the Oreo cake!!!

Bouncing

On Sunday we went to Pump it Up Jr. to celebrate 2nd birthday. It was a great time! Karson ran around and jumped on all the bouncy things. He absolutely loved the really tall slide the most. Which of course meant that daddy and I had to lug him to the top so he could slide back down. Karson also enjoyed the cupcakes :). Thanks Carter for such a great birthday party!!!

Dinner with Big Al

Friday night we went to dinner with Big Al (Kris' dad). Karson had not seen him since his first birthday party in March, so Karson had changed a lot since then. He had a lot of fun with his Big Al. It was great seeing him! Hopefully it won't be so long before Karson can see him again.

One More Week

Karson and I have one week left to enjoy our summer. We spent last Friday up at school getting my classroom ready. As you can see from the picture, he played on the computer quite a bit (and it wasn't even on!) . He also drew some pictures and helped me organize too. I can't believe how fast the summer has gone by. I will miss my lil' man and all the fun we have each day!
