Karson is becoming more and more a daddy's boy.  Every week when Kris mows the lawn he goes out and watches him. And when Kris lets him he folow him with his own toy mower.  He also has been wearing Kris' hat every day once they get home from their jeep rides. He enjoys their rides home every day now because Kris has the top off the jeep.  He loves "dada jeep". At bedtime he will only let Kris take him to bed.  I am so glad to see how much he loves his dada.

Lately Karson has had quite the appetite, I think it is  result of swimming daily and working up that appetite.  And being Mr. Independent he wants to do it all on his own...which leads to some messy eating.

Last Saturday morning we all went up to Plano and did a 5K.  The proceeds went to the Plano Education Foundation.  Since Kris works for Plano and we love to run or walk, we were all about it.  Kris ran, while Karson rode in the stroller while I pushed him while walking. It was a fun time!

On Easter morning we went to church and then to the Petroleum club for brunch. Karson enjoyed getting his Easter basket that morning before church. His favorite thing was his new stuffed Buzz doll. They have not parted since he got him. He also enjoyed the petting zoo animals at the club during brunch. He however wanted nothing to do with the Easter bunny, maybe next year.

On Saturday we went to my Aunt's house to celebrate Easter with a craw fish/ shrimp boil. It was a great idea! The food was great! The kids played the whole time. They had an egg hunt in the front yard. Karson was not too into the egg hunting this time because Aunt Mandy had given him a new sword. He was more interested in playing with his new toy, rather than collecting eggs. I think his favorite part was riding the four wheeler. He wasn't a fan at first, but after he rode with his daddy he took a liking to it. Then he rode with my Uncle. Every time they stopped he would say"Go, go". He cried when it was time to get off of it.

On Friday we went to the Arboretum for an Easter Egg Hunt. Karson did well hunting for the eggs. He also loved getting the candy out of them when he was done. It was a fun day!

On Saturday March 17th we celebrated Karson's 2nd birthday party. We had the party at Little Gym. It was a great party. They kept the kids entertained the whole time and did everything for us. I'm not sure how we will beat this party next year.
